B.D.S.M - Bhaijaan Dance Sound Machine is a DJ network from Mumbai, building an underground dance music community in India.

We designed their logo and merchandise to capture the essence of "Bhaijaan," which means "brother" in Hindi and Urdu, symbolizing camaraderie and friendship. The logo features two hands holding pinky fingers. In India, some men holding pinky fingers is often a sign of close friendship and camaraderie. It's a casual and culturally accepted way for friends to show their bond and trust in each other, and it does not have the same romantic connotations that it might have in some Western cultures. The hands are illustrated also to resemble two people holding each other while walking/dancing, and they also depict the act of scratching a vinyl disk simultaneously.
